Monica Jaggi

Monica has been teaching the Jivamukti Yoga Method for over 12 years, finding the integration of ancient teachings, alignment, and conscious movement to be a most powerful catalyst in awakening self-awareness. Through a steady, concise, seamless flow of asanas set to hypnotic beats, Monica invites practitioners to experience Yoga Asana and Meditation as essential means for self-inquiry and self-transformation.

Thoughtfully relaying the teachings of Yoga Vedanta to our everyday lives, Monica engages students with her authenticity, sincerity and heartfelt enthusiasm. Monica was born in New Delhi, India to her Indian father and Italian mother, a heritage that she draws from continuously. Humbled by how Yoga steers us towards an infinite potential, she left the field of International Business Development to fully immerse herself in the Jivamukti lineage.

A mentor at Jivamukti Teacher Trainings, as well as a mentor to teachers in the Jivamukti Apprenticeship Program, Monica fosters the growth of teachers within and outside the immediate Jivamukti teaching community. She leads retreats worldwide, as well as teaches Meditation.

Monica continues to study with her cherished teachers Sharon Gannon & David Life, as well as Ruth Lauer Manenti. She is also a student of Shri Brahmananda Sarasvati through His devoted Joan Suval & Bharati of Ananda Ashram.
