Imagine sinking into a “bath” of soothing sounds that take you on an inner journey of relaxation and transformation. By using frequency and “entrainment,” a sound bath facilitates a shift in brainwaves from our normal waking state to alpha and theta states that are akin to meditation—where true somatic healing can occur.
Nate Martinez, a certified sound therapy practitioner, creates a sound bath by using various techniques with a wide range of instruments that could include: shamanic drumming, Biosonic tuning forks, gongs, a shruti box, Himalayan and crystal singing bowls, mbiru, chimes, percussion, and voice.
Please arrive 10 min before the start of the event. If you have never been to the studio before, you will need to fill out a new student waiver. No one will be permitted into the event after 8:20pm.
