After completing the 300-hour Jivamukti Teacher Training in Dorset, England in 2012, Ananda delved into the world of Bhakti Yoga. She made a formal commitment to this path by taking initiation from HH Radhanath Swami at Villa Vrindavan, Italy in 2014. Originally from Munich, Germany, she moved to a vibrant community of Bhakti Yogis in Mayapur, India in 2015. There she took further training by completing Kirtan Academy and studying the Bhagavad-gita and other Vedic scriptures in the Bhakti Shastri course. Formerly a teacher in secondary school, she now teaches the Teacher Training 1 at Mayapur Institute.
