Self-Realization, Yogic philosophy and Health/Wellness have been the cornerstones to Ryan’s life for several years. He is a seeker, and an activist dedicated to empowering those around him to thrive in achieving goals. Ryan is a 300 hour Certified Jivamukti Yoga teacher committed to a daily Sadhana and asana practice as well. His classes are grounded in the Jivamukti method and include challenging sequences that inspire and encourage students to believe in themselves while exploring the unending possibilities around them. Classes include warm and intuitive assists and modifications to meet the needs of all yogis. The five tenets of Jivamukti Yoga (Ahimsa, Bhakti, Dhyana, Nada, and Shastra) initially drew Ryan to the Jivamukti method. He includes these elements as a focus in each class to help connect students with a deeper, peaceful, and purposeful practice beyond just the physical benefits of yoga.
Ryan is also a devoted Vegan, avid mushroom hunter and forager, and social justice activist. When not hiking in the woods or practicing Yoga, he can be found cooking delicious vegan delicacies, spending time with his beloved daughter, or participating in Circus Arts! He is grateful for his beloved teachers who have inspired and guided him to the blissful path of a yogi: Sharon Gannon & David Life, Camilla Veen, Emma Henry, Manorama, and Susan Tutino. Om Shanti!
