Angela had her first yoga class in 2006, accompanying a friend and hoping to find a new way to treat her migraine. Yoga eased the migraine attacks and Angela unexpectedly fell in love with yoga. Since then she practiced regularly, mostly Hatha and Vinyasa Yoga. In 2011 she discovered Jivamukti Yoga and was completely hooked and truly and deeply in love. Thus, in 2018 she completed the 300-hour teacher training in Govardhan Eco Village in India.
She is inspired and deeply thankful to all her yoga teachers, especially David Life, Sharon Gannon, Moritz Ulrich, Yogeshwari, Doug Whitaker, Anke Stadler, Nicole Effler, Dean Galip and Kai Guzowski.
Angela is a clinical psychologist and licensed psychotherapist based in Münster. She received her diploma in psychology in 2012 and in 2017 her PhD in clinical psychology. Her research focuses on positive factors in mental health.
