Brittany Roberts is a Jivamukti Yoga Teacher and Registered Yoga Alliance Teacher with over 1000 hours of certified training and close to 5 years of teaching experience. Brittany has had undergone extensive studies with some of the yoga world's masters: David Life, Sharon Gannon, Manju Jois, Ruth Lauer-Manenti, Petros Haffenrichter, David Keil, Robin Aurora, Kathryn Budig, Andrea Boyd, Jeffrey Cohen, and Brent Martin to name a few. Brittany holds certifications for the Jivamukti Yoga Method, Ashtanga Yoga Method (primary series), and Hatha Yoga (vinyasa krama).
Brittany is a personable and passionate Yoga Teacher, dedicated to sharing the yoga tradition and lifestyle with eager students. Recognized for the ability to conduct warm and inviting classes and the ability to empathize and develop relationships with people of different abilities and from varying backgrounds. Ultimately, inspiring students through the practice of yoga to connect with their own personal wisdom, healing abilities, and expansive potential. With a personal practice and commitment to the Jivamukti Yoga Method, yoga classes are dynamic and creative. Asana sequencing is practiced to an inspiring mix of Western and Eastern music. A typical class includes dynamic asana, sanskrit, spiritual teachings, hands-on adjustments, relaxation, and meditation.
Brittany is a graduate from the University of Alabama and moved to Savannah, GA after college in 2008 since then she moved around a little to study in New York in 2013 with the Jivamukti founders, and to England to teach yoga abroad for one year. Brittany has now relocated to Baton Rouge and joined the Yoga Bliss staff! When asked why she became a yoga instructor, Brittany answered: “Yoga changed my life and brought me an inner happiness that I had forgotten was possible. I want to share that with others so that they too can find joy; after all, joy is what we are all searching for.
