Carolyn first discovered yoga as a teacher, but became fully immersed in a yogic lifestyle later while traveling through India. After living and studying in the ashrams of Rishikesh and Kerala, she returned to New York seeking a new home and yoga practice that extended beyond the physical exercise of asana. She quickly gravitated toward the Jivamukti Method for its grounding in the ancient teachings and focus on a compassionate way of life. Practicing yoga has been a great source of joy, stability and creative inspiration in her life. She is grateful for the opportunity to share the practice with others. She humbly thanks all of her teachers and students.
Carolyn is a 800-Hour Certified Jivamukti teacher and holds degrees from Brown University (A.B.), Teachers College, Columbia University (M.A.), University of Virginia School of Law (J.D.), and Parsons School of Design (A.A.S).
