"Many different types of movement practices varying from ballet dance to swimming or diving impregnated all my life. Youthful I was also fascinated with exoteric literature and was involved in regular meditation.
Those two sides of life connected together many years after, when unexpectedly I landed up at a yoga class. I felt as if I had discovered my own America.
Yoga made my body strong and flexible and step by step pushed fitness and sport out of my schedule. What surprised me the most was that having come to yoga class extremely stressed I was leaving the studio very conciliated, full of energy and feeling the love to the whole world around. How and why it was happening? I did not know.
With the enthusiasm pertaining to a newcomer I tried different classes of yoga. Before long I realized that my school is Jivamukti. Thereafter since 2007 I have been practicing Jivamukti Yoga. 10 years after I had passed Jivamukti Teachers Training Course (Costa Rica).
I am endlessly thankful to my teachers David Life, Anja Kuehnel, Rima Rani Rabbath, Olga Oskorbina, to all teachers of this fantastic course which became a true restart for me. I feel the greatest gratitude to Sharon Gannon whose image inspires me and moves me forward. Many thanks to Anna Lunegova and Alena Tichonova for the knowledge, time and love they have been giving to me for all those years. Bless Ekaterina Rubanov and Elvira Shaichulova. I shall always remember their support.
I am particularly thankful to Ekaterina for this wonderful place in Moscow which is called Nym Yoga Studio. Here we can practice Jivamukti Yoga. We can learn ourselves. Learn to love this beautiful world and all its beings. Learn to forgive. Learn to break free from stress, blocks, stereotypes in body and mind. Learn to become free and happy.
May all beings everywhere be happy and free and may the thoughts, words and actions of my own life contribute in some way to that happiness and to that freedom for all."
