In 2012 during my Exercise Sports Science degree, I started practising Yoga at Jivamukti Yoga Sydney, shortly after I travelled to Nepal where my journey with Yoga continued in the Himalayan Mountains. In 2015 (while I was working as a Health Coach) I visited India and completed the 300hour Jivamukti Certificate with Lady Ruth and Jules Febre as our facilitators. Since then I have had the honour and privilege of learning from our teachers in South Africa at Air Yoga, Jivamukti Sydney, Jivamukti NY and Wild Woodstock. I love being a student!
I also love being a teacher. I have had the pleasure of teaching the practices of Yoga at retreats like Little Moon Yoga Studio in South Africa as well as in studio's, garages, parks and beaches on the Sunshine Coast in Australia. It brings me so much joy to be able to share what I have experienced and learnt with others, whether that is teaching Yoga in the park, in a gym or a studio to teaching meditation to Year 7-9's at Montesori International College. [Did I mention in 2016 I finished my Graduate Diploma in Secondary Education 🙂 ]. Sharing, guiding, supporting and uplifting others and meeting students where they are, is a blessing I am grateful for every day.
I currently live on the Sunshine Coast in Australia, however, I have plans in 2018 to travel the world so if you would like to get hold of me, know where I am or to say Hello, I am available via E-mail ([email protected]) and Social Media.
Until we meet again on distant shores, may I leave you with this:
Be humble. We are all beginners.
Be curious. We are all students.
Be open. We are all in this together.
Be. We are all each other.
