I became a Jivamukti Yoga certified teacher in 2011. My classes are challenging adventures in movement and playful exploration of the body. I like to tell stories, crack a few jokes, and probe into the mystery of our existence. I blend my background in AcroYoga and Thai Massage into my teaching style, helping students find their happy inner child while having strong outer-body experiences.
I often bring my ukulele to class for leading mantra and for relaxing students with shavasana serenades. You might catch me on a harmonium or even a guitar once in a while. My love of music extends to my playlists, which blend sounds from around the world. Nadam is the yoga of sound; as a yogi I love songs that capture cosmic beauty and blend ancient and modern musical sensibilities. As a vegan, I avoid cheese, unless its made from nuts.
My other passion is creating images. I am a professional photographer with a focus on yoga photography. I have been published in Yoga Journal and Mantra Magazine and documented festivals from Wanderlust to Bhakti Fest, along with NYC's Solstice in Times Square yoga event.
