Uta entered her first Yoga class in 2004 and was addicted right from the beginning. In 2008, she completed her 300h Jivamukti Teacher Training program with Sharon Gannon, David Life and Gabriela Bosic in New York/USA, followed by a 800h Apprenticeship program in 2009 at Jivamukti Yoga Munich/Germany with Carin Zahn. Complementary, she attended a kids yoga teacher program in 2016.
In her daily live, she is a senior level manager in the IT industry and understands the pressure and challenges, business people often face - and how rewarding, calming and inspiring a yoga practice can be to clear body, mind and soul. She loves nature and is often found in the mountains on her back-country skis, trekking shoes or climbing gear, to clear her mind and stay grounded. She also enjoys running in the park, swimming in the lakes, owned horses for many years and treats animals and human beings with respect. To help people connect with nature, she started to volunteer as a group leader for education for sustainable development at bergwaldprojekt eV in 2017, where she teaches and guides adults and teenagers the principles, values and practices of sustainable development and forestry foundations for healthy mountain forests, and will start her mountain guide education program in 2018.
Uta is thankful from the heart for the Jivamukti community, our teachers and their efforts and dedication to help bring individuals on their spiritual path. Due to her busy "IT business life" she is not teaching a regular schedule but is available for individual appointments.
