One of the defining strengths of the 300HR Jivamukti Yoga® Teacher Training is the deep care and attention given to building community and supporting our students. At the heart of this are our Mentors, who serve as a vital source of guidance and support during this transformative stage of each student’s journey—bridging differences in language, personality, or belief.

Requirements to mentor at a 300HR JYTT
A Jivamukti teacher who fulfills these criteria:
- Is Jivamukti Yoga Advanced Certified
- Actively teaching weekly public JY classes
- Has taught weekly public JY classes for a minimum of 5 years
- Spends at least 10 hours per year in the presence of Sharon Gannon, David Life or one of their designated teachers receiving teaching. Teachings include taking a yoga class, meditation class or listening to a lecture. (Designated teachers include: Camilla Veen, Emma Henry, Jules Febre, HaChi Yu, Moritz Ulrich, Olga Oskorbina, Petros Haffenrichter, Rima Rabbath, Ruth Lauer-Manenti, Yogeswari)
- Is not involved in any other Yoga Teacher Training one year before and after JYTT
- Aligned with Jivamukti Yoga principles, 5 tenets and veganism
- Fluent in English language
It is encouraged to fulfill all or some of some of the following criteria:
- Facilitated a 75HR Introductory program to JY
- Assisted at a 75HR Introductory program to JY
- Successfully mentored at least one apprentice within JTAP
- Attended JY Continuing Education Workshop(s)
- Participated as an Advanced Board member
- Actively teaching at an official Jivamukti Yoga Studio in the past two years.
