One of the things that make the 300HR Jivamukti Yoga Teacher Training is the attention to the community and students, and that is especially possible through the role of Mentors.
To be a Mentor at the teacher training is to be the first point of support and guidance for any student, regardless of barriers of language, personality or beliefs.

Basic requirements to mentor at a 300HR JYTT
A Jivamukti teacher who fulfills these criteria:
- Is Jivamukti Yoga Advanced Certified
- Actively teaching weekly public JY classes
- Has taught weekly public JY classes for a minimum of 5 years
- Spends at least 10 hours per year in the presence of Sharon Gannon, David Life or one of their designated teachers receiving teaching. Teachings include taking a yoga class, meditation class or listening to a lecture. (Designated teachers include: Anna Lunegova, Camilla Veen, Emma Henry, Jules Febre, HaChi Yu, Moritz Ulrich, Olga Oskorbina, Petros Haffenrichter, Rima Rabbath, Ruth Lauer-Manenti, Yogeswari)
- Is not involved in any other Yoga Teacher Training one year before and after JYTT
- Aligned with Jivamukti Yoga principles, 5 tenets and veganism
- Fluent in English language
It is encouraged to fulfill all or some of some of the following criteria:
- Facilitated a 75HR Introductory program to JY
- Assisted at a 75HR Introductory program to JY
- Successfully mentored at least one apprentice within JTAP
- Attended JY Continuing Education Workshop(s)
- Participated as an Advanced Board member
- Part of an official Jivamukti Yoga Studio.
