THE TEACHER TRAINING PATH

It attracts students from around the world and produces empowered, informed and confident yoga teachers. The training teaches you to incorporate asana, chanting, music, meditation, activism and scriptural study into a challenging practice underpinned by a quest for enlightenment.

Jivamukti Yoga’s® focus on a non-dualistic view of life (the interconnectedness of all) awakens in the practitioner not only the need to protect the environment and all the animals and plants that share the planet with us, but also teaches skills to confidently achieve those goals for oneself as well as lead others to live in harmony with the planet.

The pathway begins with the Jivamukti Immersion as an Introductory Course, then continues to the 75HR Foundational Course (which provides a provisional clearance to teach Spiritual Warrior), and reaches the 300HR Comprehensive Certification (when you can call yourself a Certified Jivamukti Yoga Teacher). We don’t stop there; we expect our Teachers to keep studying, so they can offer students the best Yoga experience in the world. So we also offer our Certified Teachers an advanced 500HR Apprenticeship (where you are guided by a Mentor) and an Advanced Board Exam (where you can certify at our top level), positioning you as a leader in the Jivamukti Yoga community but also the Yoga community worldwide.
