A lover of the mystical side of yoga and a dedicated practitioner of
the Jivamukti Yoga lineage, Brittany currently teaches international workshops and
retreats. She has undergone extensive training with some of the world’s most respected
teachers. As a committed practitioner of the Jivamukti Yoga method, Brittany recognizes
Sharon Gannon and David Life as her Gurus (spiritual teachers). Within the Jivamukti
Yoga lineage, Brittany has had the honor of studying directly under Andrea Boyd,
Jeffrey Cohen, Ruth Lauer-Manenti, Petros Haffenrichter, Manorama, Dr. M.A.
Jayashree, and Krishna Das. In addition to her Jivamukti studies, Brittany has also had
a deep connection with the Ashtanga Yoga method, where she completed Second
Series. She has studied Primary Series with Robin Aurora (John Scott lineage) and
Manju Jois, and Second Series with Andrew Linton. She has also attended workshops
with Sharath and David Williams. Brittany’s teachers often joke that she’s logged the
most hours, which include multiple courses in bhakti (devotional studies) and philosophy
with Edwin Bryant, as well as numerous anatomy workshops with David Keil
(Yoganatomy), PT Lori Zucker, and Celeste Pereira. Additional teachers Brittany has
studied with include Judith Laster for Restorative Yoga and Sarah Powers for Yin Yoga.
A yogi living in the modern world, Brittany recognizes the many blessings of her deep
dive into yoga studies, remaining humble with the words of MC Yogi: “I’m not a guru, but
I have a guru.”

Brittany is an international yoga teacher who shares her knowledge and passion across
the US and beyond. She has hosted transformative retreats in Hawaii and Ecuador and
led several successful yoga teacher training programs in Baton Rouge. As the former
owner of a yoga studio, she’s built deep connections with her students, offering
dynamic, creative asana sequences set to a blend of Eastern and Western music. In her
classes, Brittany combines asana, Sanskrit, spiritual teachings, hands-on adjustments,
and meditation, creating an inspiring space for students to explore their practice. She
encourages self-reflection and growth, guiding students to find their unique path within
the practice. Brittany strives to balance the physical and spiritual aspects of yoga,
making each class both challenging and deeply nourishing. Currently, Brittany is
focused on teaching workshops exclusively in New Orleans, where she continues to
participate in a vibrant yoga community.
