Eva grew up as a dancer and had a strong relationship with the mind-body connection. She started her dancing career with the Ohio Ballet. A few years later, she joined Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre as a soloist. Eva and her husband went on to work for Twyla Tharp Dance in NYC. Eva’s path to yoga has always been intertwined with dance. Yoga and meditation became her refuge. The dance world could be cold and competitive; the yoga studio was full of love for all beings. During her final years of performing, she devoted herself to Jivamukti Yoga as self-maintenance to stay injury free, to calm the mind, for spiritual growth, and warm up before shows. Eva is a Licensed Massage Therapist. She is a 300-hr Jivamukti Yoga Teacher and a 200 hour-RYT. She is certified in Marma Therapy and Yoga Nidra. Currently Eva is in school to become an Ayurvedic Health Counselor at the California College of Ayurveda where she also received her Ayurveda Bodywork training. Eva created Bindu & Body, a place for community, connection, and care where wellness is rooted in love.
