Evgenia Iokar
300hr Certified
Moscow
Russia

Evgenias yoga journey began in 2014.
She developed a deep passion for the Jivamukti method in 2020 when she attended her first Open Class led by Daria Grigorieva in Material Moscow. Ever since, she is dedicated to learning by studying and practicing with renowned teachers.
In 2023 Evgenia completed the 75-hour training program in Moscow with Anna Lunegova and Tatiana Koshkarova. In 2024 she achieved her 300-hour Teacher Training certification online in Italy.

Evgenia did not choose Jivamukti yoga. The method chose her itself.

In her Jivamukti classes Evgenia endeavors to create a seamless blend of physical and spiritual aspects of yoga practice.
She focuses on the synchronous work of body and breath, high-quality muscle warming before practice and applies mindfulness techniques.
Handstands are her passion. She thinks that in order to get the maximum benefit from practice, you need to sweat well on the mat.

She is genuinely convinced that the comprehension of oneself begins with the feeling of one’s body in space. Through working with the physical body, we influence the state of mind and emotions.

All the qualities that we show on the mat show us our true qualities in everyday life. And on her classes, Evgenia tries to share the knowledge that she receives from her teachers, revealing the depth and capabilities of each practitioner. So that everyone finds support not in someone else or outside, but becomes a support for themselves.
