Federica is a very eclectic and singular Jiva. Curiosity is what drives her entire life: curiosity for the people she meets, curiosity for places she visits, curiosity for topics she hears or reads about. Curiosity is what led to her interest in yoga. Federica started yoga in December 2016. It has been a long and virtuous journey from a 23-year old girl, who wants to show everyone how flexible she is, to an adult woman who wants to dig deep into her spirituality. Her family have a Catholic background and as a kid she grew up with the clear image of a good God, called Jesus, who guides everyone to be kind with others and happy for the gift of life. When Federica was ten years old her parents split up, but Federica remained profoundly connected with Jesus.
She is used to say “Good Night” to Him every night and she is used to thank Him when something marvelous happened to her or to one of her beloved.
When she realized that she needs more in her life than just an asanas practice, she asked her teacher to mentor her. The teacher suggested to attend the Jivamukti training and that was a wonderful advice. Day by day Federica has found herself more connected with Jesus again. She works as a journalist in a high demanding environment, so being a yoga teacher is a way for her to boost her natural attitude of caring about people and her love for the Earth, all beings. Here is a Yoga Sutra she loves: sthira sukham asanam – The connection with the Earth should be steady and joyful.
