Francesca Matteucci is a 300 hrs Jivamukti certified teacher. She was born in a family farm in Italy, enjoying her youth among apricots, cherries, peaches and other delicious mediterranean fruits and vegetables. She grew up observing seasons, which rooted in her a special respect and love for Nature, even when she moved to big cities for universitary studies and work. Her yoga journey started in 2018, when she was searching for some mind and body relief from demanding roles at work and after challenging years as a runner in sport. Seed by seed, through the Yoga practice, she started perceiving something more growing beyond the physical asanas. And one day she was so surprised by feeling at home during a Jivamukti Yoga class that she decided to deep dive into the method and take her first teacher training with the 75 hours Spiritual Warrior certification in January 2022, followed by the 300-hour hrs Jivamukti teacher certification soonafter. It was like an answer she was looking for a while, warmly hugged in particular by three words she met soon along the texts by Sharon Gannon and David Life: Nature, Compassion, Connection. Francesca is infinitely grateful to the Jivamukti Yoga funders and her teachers for the possibility she was given to contribute spreading yoga and love.
