Kaelen Wilson-Goldie is a writer, critic, and art historian who specializes in modern and contemporary art from the Middle East and North Africa. A student of yoga since the mid 1990s, she was introduced to Jivamukti in New York, reacquainted via a workshop with Sharon Gannon and David Life in Beirut, and completed her 300-hour teaching training at the Omega Institute in 2012. Now living in Geneva, she is especially drawn to the literary as well as the physical, spiritual, and musical dimensions of Jivamukti. She is deeply committed to the study of yogic texts and to the transmission of their teachings. She is grateful to her teachers Rima Rabbath and Jules Febre, among others, for showing her that svādhyāya, or self-study, is a joyous and liberatory practice of everyday life.
