She started practicing yoga more than 20 years ago, in Buenos Aires, but her practice only got more serious when living in Barcelona almost 10 years later where she started combining asana practice with Buddhist meditation and swimming (total immersion). In 2015 she did a teacher training at Mandiram Yoga School (Barcelona) and in 2021 she completed the 300h Jivamukti training. She is grateful to all her past and future teachers in the different traditions for their inspiration and support.
She holds a PhD in Political Philosophy and works as a researcher and university lecturer, in addition to teaching yoga. She is also an activist in issues related to feminism and local democracy, collaborates with different collectives and writes for different media outlets. A few years ago she suffered from activist burnout and now one of her main concerns is to integrate yoga with political activism, both supporting activists who deal with similar situations and using ordinary yoga classes as a pathway towards more engaged forms of intervention in the world for everyone.
Chanting, meditation and music are central elements of her personal practice and she integrates the three of them into her classes, where asana is seen as a tool for mind-body transformation. With her, the sessions develop at a slow pace and they always seek to find a balance between challenge and depth.
She currently lives in the Basque Country with her partner, two young human kids, two cats and a dog.
