María first encountered yoga in 2019 when she met a yogui teacher from India in her hometown, Toledo. Short after, she moved to Madrid and discovered Jivamukti Yoga, falling in love with the method, specially with the spiritual perspective and activism behind it. Her previous ballet training boosted her yoga practice and body awareness. On 2023, she graduated from 300hr Jivamukti Yoga Teacher Training.

She is currently based in Madrid teaching Jivamukti Yoga at Templo Satya. She is deeply grateful to her teachers, Fernanda de la Puente, Olga Oskorbina, Ruth Lauer Manenti and Karina Gusalova for their guidance towards her True Self.
