Maria born in Veracruz, Mexico and her first contact with yoga was an Iyengar school at Veracuz in 2008, giving her the curiosity to explore yoga further. Later on, she moved to Puebla, and started practicing at Ganesha Yoga Shala with Paloma Baker, and little by little felt more in love with yoga. At Paloma’s school she felt like home, practicing mainly Ashtanga Yoga at the beginning and after started falling more and more into the Jivamukti Yoga Method . After many years of practicing, an Ashtanga Vinyasa certification and different workshops, she was convinced she wanted to be able to share the joy she felt each time she practiced. .
In 2021 she graduated from her Jivamukti 300hr certification in Salento, Italy; under the teachings of Emma Henry and Yogeswari de Azahar. Maria feels fortunate and very grateful for her teachers along the way: Paloma Baker, Olga Barroso, Yogeswari de Azahar, Emma Henry, Ian Szydlowski, Fernanda de la Puente and Candida Vivalda.
