Mahima (Marion) is an eternal light-worker, seeker of the truth, and a lifelong student of movement. A former dancer, she completed her first YTT at Integral Yoga in 2005 and has been teaching ever since. She completed the 300-hour Jivamukti Teacher Training in 2015. Drawing great inspiration from Sanskrit study and Vedanta, Marion hopes to spread this ancient knowledge and to help awaken the inner guru (inner teacher) residing in all of us. Her carefully sequenced classes focus on organically aligned movement, energetic connection, sound and mantra. She aims to make the yoga practice accessible to everyone, regardless of age or experience level. Mahima is grateful to Shri Brahmananda Sarasvati and Ananda Ashram where she lived for three years and where she continues to study. She extends humble thanks to all of her teachers at Jivamukti, the Ashram, and to all of her teachers human and non-human. Mahima has also been teaching Gyrotonic since 2005 and trained as a clinical massage therapist. She plays and practices many styles of music and recently studied Tibetan Singing Bowl therapy in Kathmandu, Nepal.
