Meg was fortunate to experience Jivamukti Yoga as her first yoga method in 2013, coincidently around the same time she adopted ethical veganism. Since this transformative experience, Meg has been practicing Jivamukti Yoga ever since – leading her to train in the method.
Meg completed her 300 hour Jivamukti Yoga teacher training in February 2018 with Padma (Sharon Gannon), Yogeswari and Moritz Ulrich at the Govardhan Eco Village in Mumbai, India.
Meg loves the intersection of yoga, psychology and activism. Meg believes her role as a Jivamukti Yoga teacher is to nurture the students that attend her classes physically, emotionally, intellectually and spiritually, so that they may be better able to engage in social, animal, political and spiritual activism off the mat; and in doing so, directly contribute to the happiness and freedom of all.
