I’m Minerva, a passionate yogini born near the Amazon rainforest in Venezuela. Growing up amidst nature and with a yogini mother, I developed a spiritual connection to the Earth since I was a kid. It was in Barcelona, in 2015, that I embarked on my yoga journey and discovered the transformative power of Jivamukti yoga, which instantly captured my heart.
Driven by a deep desire to share the incredible benefits of yoga, I went to Costa Rica in 2017 to obtain my first Jivamukti certification. This marked the beginning of my journey as a yoga teacher. In 2020, as the world grappled with the challenges of the pandemic, I completed Trauma Informed Yoga training with Radika foundation in Barcelona, recognizing the increased importance of mental health support in our communities. Continuing to expand my knowledge, I sought the guidance of Maria Macaya in Barcelona, under whom I completed my 800-hour Jivamukti Yoga certification in 2021.
In my classes, I create an energetic and dynamic environment, blending challenge and ease. With a soft voice as a guide and the inspiring melodies that accompany us, I strive to help my students to tap into their full potential. Having lived in different countries and immersed myself in diverse cultures, I consider myself an international human. This love for travel and connection inspires me to continuously seek new ways to share all that I have learned and experienced.
