Out of curiosity Philippa entered a yoga studio for the first time in the beginning of the 2000s. Not knowing anything. She tried a variety of yoga styles – from Bikram to Hatha to Vinyasa. But it wasn’t until she attended her first Jivamukti class in Berlin that she fell in love with it. It is the depth of the teachings, the combination of intensive asana practice, meditation, chanting, various styles of music, pranayama, consciousness and mindfulness of the direct and indirect environment what still fascinates her about Jivamukti Yoga.
In February 2015, she completed the teacher training in Radhanath Swami’s magical Govardhan Eco Village in India with her teachers Sharon Gannon, David Life, Lady Ruth and Jules Febre under the guidance of her mentor Yogeswari.
Philippa thanks ALL teachers near and far who accompany her on this beautiful journey, especially her JTAP mentor Moritz Ulrich for his constant trust and support.
“Magic is a shift in perception” (Sharon Gannon): Just go for it and wonderful things will arise!
