Shae has studied yoga and meditation for over five years and comes from a long line of yogis. In addition to vigorous asana, his classes incorporate the five tenets of Jivamukti – Ahimsa (nonviolence), Bhakti (chanting), Dhyana (meditation), Nada (sound), and Shastra (Self-study). He is grateful for his teacher Amanda Moran for leading him into this rich tradition. He received his 300 hour Jivamukti Instructor certification at Blue Spirit Retreat Center in Costa Rica, while also holding a Master of Public Health. He believes in the healing powers of yoga for the body mind and soul.
