Silke discovered the yoga practice in her early 20’s after losing her mother. It was transcendental and transformative for her. Yoga practice helped Silke to grieve, confront her fears and allow her true self to be unveiled from the encapsulation of restrictive beliefs. It is a practice to observe the inner and outer world, relationships to oneself and other beings.

Silke truly believes we are here to learn, to grow and make this world a better place.

Silke’s journey took her to India in 2019 to learn more about yoga philosophy and Ashtanga practice and there she completed her 200h Ashtanga-Vinyasa teacher training. It was a wonderfully humbling experience. She recalls – with gratitude to her teachers she met during this time – a special daily moment when asked: ‘What is new?’, a reflective question designed to raise one’s state of awareness to the present moment of this precious life to surrender to the now. Everything is new ALL the time! Daily intentioned practice on and off the yoga mat helps to surrender to the now.

In 2022 Silke completed her 300h JYTT in Salento, Italy and is happy to be part of the Jivamukti community. She is grateful to share these practices and teachings and pass on the miracle of yoga for others to enjoy.

Yoga is a wonderful reconnection to love, Oneness and Unity with All!
