Uta entered her first Yoga class in 2004 and was addicted right from the beginning. In 2008, she completed her 300h Jivamukti Teacher Training program with Sharon Gannon, David Life and Gabriela Bosic in New York/USA, followed by a 800h Apprenticeship program in 2009 at Jivamukti Yoga Munich/Germany with Carin Zahn. She attended a Kids Yoga teacher program in 2016, and Faszia Yoga training with LuNa Schmidt in 2017 to complement her study of Jivamukti Yoga. In her daily life, she is a senior level manager in the IT industry and understands the pressure and challenges business people often face – and how rewarding a yoga practice can be to become more resilient, and strengthen body, mind and soul. She loves nature and is often found in the mountains on her back-country skis, trekking shoes or climbing gear, to clear her mind and stay grounded. She also enjoys running in the park, swimming in the lakes, and owned horses for many years. She treats animals and human beings with respect. To help people connect with nature, she volunteers as a group leader to help safe protective mountain forests and teaches adults & teenagers the principles, values and practices of sustainable development with bergwaldprojekt eV since 2017. In 2019, she also got licensed as Trainer C for Mountain Hiking. Uta is thankful from the heart for the Jivamukti community, our teachers and their efforts and dedication to help bring individuals on their spiritual path.
