Veronica is deeply humbled for the opportunity to serve as a Jivamukti teacher. Veronica began practicing Jivamukti Yoga as a way to better understand the purpose of her own life and engage deeper in social justice work. Although Veronica always had an interest in yoga, she did not always have the means to access the practice. This led her to think deeply about how she can help cultivate equity and increase representation in yoga spaces. When the opportunity arose in 2020 to become part of the first online cohort, Veronica immediately signed up.
Veronica is forever grateful to her teachers, Tim Shaw, Jessica Stickler, and HaChi Yu for their inspiration and guidance. Veronica can never thank Sharon Gannon and David Life enough for creating the Jivamukti Yoga method. She is also thankful to her family, animal companions, and to be able to serve others through her work in higher education.
