Yana’s sincere dedication to studying various aspects of yoga attracted her first students in 2020, simultaneously revealing her desire to share her knowledge and help others. Her profound interest in teaching led her to leave a long-standing career in an investment fund, where she had advanced from secretary to department head.

Yana developed an interest in yoga in 2013, attending classes of various styles both in Moscow and while living in Bali. In 2020, she was introduced to the Jivamukti method and immediately fell in love with its dynamic and versatile approach, as well as the close interaction between teacher and student through assisting.

“Over time, you realize that yoga is not just about the outer form and the physical aspect. Yoga is a multifaceted tool for self-discovery available to everyone, helping to overcome fears and limitations through working with the body and breath. The practice goes beyond the mat, disciplining the mind, refining one’s perception of the world, and eliminating everything unnecessary.

Each class is a small step on a great path where we may stumble and falter, but the important thing is to keep going. My role as a teacher is to gently accompany you on this journey to yourself.

Don’t look for support in someone else; become a support for yourself.”
